Experience

Mr. Rijal has over 10 years of professional experience that encompasses business consulting, tax,
internal and statutory audits in diverse sectors.
1. Lead audits of Development Organizations and to include external and Internal audit of
donor funded projects, investigations, verifications and Supervision of NGOs as a financial expert
on a team comprising of government officials. Donor funded projects related to health, climate,
reconstruction, child care centers where funding was done by European Commission [EC], The
Global Fund, Swiss Government/ Embassy, International Red Cross, The Britain Nepal Medical
Trust [BNMT] etc.
2. Banking: Internal and statutory audits, tax audit, DDA, development of audit and risk
manuals, helped develop and promote digitization cashless agendas of the bank.
3. Currently, heading internal audit of a Bank, Merchant Bank, and Mutual Funds.
4. Audit experience in education, health, hospitality, energy and other sectors including
financial/management consultancy and payroll management.
